On August 26, 2026, Lê Minh Hưng, Prime Minister of Vietnam, hosted a symposium for Chinese‑funded enterprises at the Prime Minister’s Office. CNTY together with well‑known enterprises including Bank of China, Huawei and Chery, was invited to the event, with Cao Debiao, President of CNTY, in attendance.
Centering on key sectors such as environmental protection, new energy and infrastructure, the symposium aimed to expand opening‑up and encourage Chinese‑funded enterprises to invest in Vietnam. Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng, Minister of Finance Ngô Văn Tuấn and other senior officials repeatedly referenced the waste‑to‑energy industry and CNTY, and responded to 44 proposals raised by participating enterprises covering six major fields. Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng stated that entering a new development phase, Vietnam will keep improving its institutions and mechanisms, optimize the business environment, and fully support foreign capital in Vietnam’s development.
He Wei, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam, attended and addressed the symposium. He noted that China‑Vietnam economic and trade cooperation is continuously upgrading in quality. The Chinese‑funded enterprises present at the symposium are leading representatives in their respective industries. He expressed expectations that both sides would translate cooperation consensus into concrete actions to further deepen and substantiate industrial cooperation across various sectors.
This symposium has built an efficient bridge for government‑enterprise communication and injected new momentum into CNTY’s deployment in Vietnam’s environment and new‑energy sectors. CNTY will continue to deepen its presence in the Vietnamese market and scale up its local investment. It will actively respond to Prime Minister’s call for shifting from single‑project investment toward coordinated investment across industrial and value chains, support Vietnam’s ecological conservation and green‑economy growth, and contribute to China‑Vietnam cooperation in green industries.
