Days of persistent heavy rainfall caused severe flooding across Donglan County. Surging river water overflowed banks, while torrential rains triggered widespread mountain slope collapses and landslides. Large amounts of mud, boulders and wood branches washed down, covering urban and rural roads, bridges and drainage systems. Streets were buried in thick silt and floating debris; many residences and roadside vehicles were flooded. Blocked roads and clogged drainage severely disrupted local residents’ daily life and travel.

Responding immediately to the flood emergency, Donglan Yinghuan rapidly mobilized frontline staff, sanitation vehicles and mechanical equipment. All workers went to disaster-stricken areas to carry out comprehensive post-flood desilting, road clearing and environmental restoration.

Working on slippery, mud-covered roads, crews equipped with shovels, hoes and waterproof boots collaborated efficiently. They cleared silt, removed fallen branches and rocks, and eliminated road obstacles. Despite muddy clothes and prolonged immersion in cold water, all workers remained dedicated to unblocking roads.

The site adopted an efficient man-machine operation model. Loaders and transfer vehicles removed large-scale landslide waste and bulky debris, while workers cleaned hard-to-reach blind spots including road edges, sidewalks and drainage gaps, quickly reopening blocked passages.

Floods displaced numerous public waste bins. Staff retrieved, reset and pressure-cleaned the facilities, removed stagnant flood waste, and inspected damaged equipment to restore normal services.

Covering main roads, backstreets, bridges and low-lying residential areas, the team completed full-range restoration work including desilting, obstacle removal, drainage dredging, waste transportation and facility disinfection. Thanks to the joint efforts, flooded areas were fully cleaned up, roads and drains reopened, and township environments restored to order.
