On July 13, 2026, CNTY signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government of Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Governor Francis Nwifuru led a delegation to the ceremony, while CNTY President Cao Debiao, Vice Presidents Mao Hongju and Hua Haiyan attended.

Prior to signing, Governor Nwifuru and his delegation visited CNTY's waste-to-energy plant and equipment manufacturing centre, gaining insights into the company's capabilities in waste treatment and environmental equipment. They also held talks with senior management, laying the groundwork for deeper cooperation.

Under the MOU, both parties will collaborate on waste-to-energy, urban environmental services, resource recovery systems, and new energy. Cao Debiao stated that CNTY will actively advance project implementation, help Ebonyi enhance environmental governance and resource recycling, create a green development model, and gradually extend quality environmental services to more regions in Nigeria.

Governor Nwifuru noted that the signing marks a significant milestone for Ebonyi. After the site visits, he expressed strong confidence in CNTY's technology and track record, and looked forward to early tangible outcomes that benefit local communities.

This agreement is a key step in CNTY’s global expansion and African market strategy. Leveraging its full-industry-chain strengths in waste-to-energy, smart environmental services, resource recycling, and new energy, the company aims to inject new momentum into Ebonyi's green growth.
