Recently, a heartwarming act of honesty took place in Xiji County. A frontline sanitation worker from Xiji Tianying, while performing routine cleaning duties, found a mobile phone. Without a moment's hesitation, the employee secured the item and made every effort to locate the owner, eventually returning it successfully. The owner expressed sincere thanks for the worker's integrity and responsibility, and presented a banner in recognition.

General Manager Wang Yuhong, who has worked at the grassroots for over two decades and led the team through many challenges to maintain high-standard urban cleaning, was awarded the title of Autonomous Region Model Worker in January 2021. Cleaning team leader Zhang Xia, recognized for her outstanding capabilities and selfless dedication, received the Guyuan City March 8 Red Banner Holder honour in 2026. Transfer station captain Ma Wei, known for his meticulous work, was awarded the Guyuan City May Day Labor Medal in 2025.
