Skills Competition Held in Month of Fire Prevention 2022

In the afternoon of November 3, the Safety Committee and Trade Union Committee of CNTY jointly held an emergency evacuation and emergency skills competition in the Month of Fire Prevention.

The event practiced emergency command, evacuation, and rescue at the simulated scene of sudden fire, aiming to further increase fire safety awareness and enhance employees’ self-rescue skills at fire accidents.

Leaders participating the event included Tang Mingchun, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Hai'an Fire and Rescue Brigade, Liu Lanying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CNTY, Cao Yungui, Chairman of the Trade Union of CNTY, and Xie Wenjing, General Manager of the Risk Control Department of CNTY. There were 132 participants attending the competition. Activities included emergency evacuation, firefighting knowledge lecture, fire extinguisher drill, water gun shooting, and appraisal ceremony.

Emergency evacuation simulated a sudden fire in key parts of the workshop. Fire alarm, evacuation command, safety control and emergency evacuation were practiced. Firefighting officers explained related policies and precautions to employees, effectively enhancing their fire prevention awareness and self-rescue skills. Training on how to use the fire extinguishers and water guns was carried out as well.
